Denver Fly Fishing Show Features Top Instructors and Demonstrations Feb. 6-8

DENVER, Colo. – Gary Borger, Mac Brown, Capt. Bruce Chard, Charlie Craven, Ed Engle, Pat Dorsey, Alice Owsley, Philip Rowley, Whitney Gould, and Landon Mayer head a list of demonstrators, instructors and seminar leaders at the annual Denver Fly Fishing Show, Feb. 6-8 in the Gaylord Rockies Convention and Exposition Center.

Other angling or fly tying instructors include Amanda Chapman, Jeff Currier, Tam Luong, Tim Cammisa, Jason Randall, and Conway Bowman. The show offers continuous seminars, classes, fly tying, casting demonstrations, and theater presentations.

Hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Fri.; 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Sat; and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Sun. Fly Fishing Show® admission is $20 for one day, $35 for two days and $45 for three days. Children under age 5 are free as are Boy and Girl Scouts under age 16 in uniform. Children 6-12 are $5. Active military with an ID are $10.

In addition to 28 regular 2-1/2 hour classes with a $100 registration fee, there will be a special day-long advanced casting class with Brown and Dr. Borger on Feb. 5 – a day in advance of the show – limited to eight students; and a three hour Saltwater Fly Casting Clinic with Capt. Chard. Tuition for the advanced Borger/Brown class is $625; Capt. Chard's saltwater experience is $200.

Twenty four Women's Showcase presentations range from Casting with Owlsey to Destination Fly Fishing Locations to Consider Across the Globe with Karin Miller.

The 2026 International Fly Fishing Film Festival will be Fri. (2/6) at 6:30. Admission is $17 in advance or $20 at the entrance.
