Annapolis Spring Sailboat Show Returns to City Dock April 24-26

The Annapolis Spring Sailboat Show returns to historic City Dock April 24-26, bringing a wide selection of new and brokerage sailboats to downtown Annapolis for a three-day, in-water event focused on sailing, education, and on-the-water experiences.

The show provides an opportunity for attendees of all experience levels to step aboard sailboats of varying sizes and styles, meet with brokers and industry professionals, and explore options for ownership, upgrading, or simply learning more about sailing and life on the water. From first-time visitors to seasoned sailors, the Spring Sailboat Show is designed to welcome anyone interested in sailing and the Chesapeake Bay lifestyle.

Education remains a central part of the show's programming. The First Sail Workshop offers an introduction for those new to sailing, while Cruisers University provides in-depth instruction for sailors planning extended cruising or looking to sharpen their skills. Throughout each day, free seminars presented by BoatU.S. cover a range of sailing and safety topics, allowing attendees to build confidence and knowledge both on and off the water.

For those interested in sailing without ownership, the show highlights charter opportunities. Attendees may connect with charter companies, learn how chartering works, and explore how sailing vacations and bareboat charters can expand experience and open access to cruising destinations near and far.

As redevelopment work continues at City Dock, the Annapolis Spring Sailboat Show is adapting alongside the City of Annapolis. The Annapolis City Dock Project is a transformative initiative designed to address recurrent flooding, enhance public spaces, and strengthen the long-term economic vitality of the historic waterfront, creating a more resilient and accessible downtown for residents, visitors, and businesses alike.

In response, the 2026 Spring Sailboat Show layout is being reformatted to support ongoing construction while enhancing the experience for exhibitors and attendees. Additional details including the updated show map and need-to-know information will be shared in the weeks leading up to the show, along with information on how attendees can continue supporting this unique waterfront community.
