Job Title: Brand Vice President – Strike King

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the brand's long-term strategy in alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Manage daily operations of a full-service consumables (line, bait, terminal tackle, and accessories) team.
  • Lead Product Development with a team of Product Managers, Brand Managers, and engineers to implement brand initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Brand Marketing and Marketing Ops teams to ensure the brand's visual identity and campaigns align with Company core values.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams; brand marketing, marketing ops, sales, supply chain/operations to successfully launch new items.
  • Facilitate/determine forecasts for NPD projects to aid in supply chain efforts and project prioritization.
  • Monitor trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behavior.
  • Utilize available tools to monitor market share at multiple levels of granularity, using information to develop strategies and make key decisions for the brand.
  • Conduct consumer research and feedback to assess brand perception and make necessary adjustments.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on brand performance and progress.
  • Foster a collaborative environment to ensure all team members are aligned with brand goals.
  • 15-20% travel required, including international travel.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred experience managing or operating a successful bait/lure brand or related outdoor products.
  • 3-5 years' experience in brand management.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of brand development, consumer behavior, and market research.
  • Must possess strong understanding of financials, margin and product pricing.
  • Adaptability to changing market conditions and adjusting brand strategies accordingly.
  • Creative thinking with the ability to solve problems and drive innovation.
  • Must possess excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Must possess interpersonal and facilitation skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and Windows based computer applications skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Fishing or Outdoor Industry experience preferred.

Additional Requirements:

This is largely a sedentary role; however, when attending trade shows and other events, standing for up to 8 hours a day may be required, along with moderate lifting, bending, pushing and/or pulling.
