The SFC Carrier Cup presented by Huk also officially launches the summer of the United States' semiquincentennial with the "America 250 Summer Kickoff Concert" headlined by country music superstar Brian Kelley. Held on the flight deck of the USS Yorktown on Friday, May 29, the concert marks the first of Charleston's America 250th anniversary celebrations with a moving tribute to the nation's military community aboard one of the country's most historic naval vessels.
