The Palmetto Sportsmen’s Classic, this year set for March 22-24 in Columbia, has always emphasized the appreciation, wise use, and stewardship of South Carolina’s natural resources through the use of education. This annual event is hosted by the Harry R. E. Hampton Memorial Wildlife Fund and the S.C. Department of Natural Resources and is sponsored by Farm Bureau Insurance of South Carolina.

With more than 40,000 people in attendance each year, visitors can expect live animal exhibits, contests, seminars on various outdoors topics, demonstrations of both hunter and boater safety, and many other vendors, exhibits and activities related to the outdoors. This year the Classic will host DockDogs®, the World’s Premier Canine Aquatic Competition.
