Louisiana Bass Angler Survey Underway

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) invites Louisiana bass anglers to take part in the Statewide Black Bass Angler Survey. The survey gathers information on anglers’ experiences, preferences, and opinions regarding the management of Louisiana’s three black bass species: Largemouth Bass, Spotted Bass, and Florida Bass.

The survey will be available to Louisiana residents through December 7. To complete the survey, visit: (https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/YC78TGP) or scan the QR Code below.

Information collected through the survey will assist LDWF and the Black Bass Management Plan Stakeholder Working Group in developing Louisiana’s first stakeholder-driven Black Bass Management Plan. The 10-year plan will guide the future management and enhancement of bass fishing opportunities across the state, reflecting the goals and priorities identified by Louisiana’s bass anglers giving them a direct role in shaping the future of black bass fishing in Louisiana.
