BRP Announces Big Jump in 3rd Quarter Revenues

Sea-Doo parent BRP last week announced the results of its third quarter of fiscal 2026.

Quarterly revenue was CAD$2.25 billion ($1.62 billion), an increase of 14% compared with the same period last year. Net income was CAD$76.5 million ($55 million), an increase of 150% year-over-year. BRP said that the results were driven by higher deliveries and a favorable product mix, but added that North American powersports retail sales decreased 4% compared with last year.

Net loss decreased 67.6%, to CAD$7.7 million ($5.5 million) for the three months ended Oct. 31, compared with CAD$23.8 million ($17.3 million) in the prior-year period. The drop was primarily due to the closing of the sales of Alumacraft and Manitou assets during the three-month periods ended July 31, and Oct. 31, respectively, a company statement said.

“Third-quarter results came in ahead of expectations with significant revenue, profitability and free cash flow increases.,” CEO José Boisjoli said in the statement. “This strong performance was fueled by the successful introduction of new industry-leading products, which drove market share gains in the SSV and ATV categories in North America. In fact, we recorded our strongest third quarter ever at retail for SSV. Reflecting this solid outcome, we are increasing our guidance for fiscal year 2026.”
