More St. Croix Blanks Available for Rod Geeks

PARK FALLS, WIS. – Rod Geeks, a St. Croix brand and the exclusive distributor of St. Croix rod blanks, has exciting news for the diverse and passionate rod-building community. The all-new RodGeeks.com will be live August 19, delivering a dramatically expanded selection of St. Croix rod blanks with a streamlined shopping experience that makes finding the blanks you want faster and easier than ever.

The custom rod-building community spoke, and we listened.

MORE CHOICES THAN EVER

Rod Geeks blanks are now St. Croix blanks. Period. Want to build an 11’ surf rod on a St. Croix Legend Surf blank? A 5’8” extra-heavy saltwater jigging rod on a St. Croix RIFT blank? A 7’10” hair jig rod on a St. Croix Victory blank? Do it. All of it.

The new RodGeeks.com website now offers more blanks – select blanks found in almost all St. Croix series – and we plan to add new blanks to the Rod Geeks selection every year. Most importantly, we want builders to understand that the St. Croix-branded blanks they order at RodGeeks.com are the very same blanks handcrafted in our Park Falls, Wisconsin and Fresnillo, Mexico factories that become the foundation for the BEST RODS ON EARTH.

15 COLORS

St. Croix blanks from Rod Geeks are now available in up to 15 colors to kickstart your builds, including Black, Natural Matte, Dark Blue, Purple, Red, Gold, Pink, Seafoam, Clear Gloss, Grey, Green, Dark Red, Copper, Light Blue, and White.

Our paints are automotive-grade and specially formulated for use on fishing rods with ultraviolet inhibitors and additives that allow them to flex appropriately with no fading, cracking, or peeling.

SHOP BY MATERIAL

Find exactly what you need, quickly, by browsing by St. Croix material, including SCI (Linear S-Glass), SCII, SCIII, SCIII+, SCIV+, and SCV carbons in both freshwater and saltwater lengths, powers, and actions. Once a material is selected, shoppers receive additional information on the specific St. Croix rod series’ the blanks are used in. Additionally, if the blank is made in St. Croix’s Park Falls, Wisconsin factory, the blank series name will start with USA. For example, if SCIV+ Saltwater is selected, the product page will show USA SCIV+ Saltwater and explain that these blanks are used in St. Croix’s Legend Tournament Inshore Series rods. Want to make things even easier? A comprehensive chart showing every St. Croix rod model and the exact blank it’s built on will also be accessible at the new RodGeeks.com.

SHOP BY ACTIVITY

Looking to build a freshwater rod, saltwater rod, surf rod, fly rod, or travel rod? A Shop by Activity menu on the new RodGeeks.com allows builders to browse all available blanks within a particular category, including HD, which includes the blanks employed in our St. Croix musky and nearshore saltwater rod series.

WE CAN’T WAIT TO SEE WHAT YOU’LL DO

Whatever your rod-building style or focus, thank you for trusting St. Croix blanks from Rod Geeks as the foundation for your creativity and talents. Starting your build with the best has never been easier, more exciting, or more satisfying. Head over to the all-new RodGeeks.com on August 19 and get inspired like never before.
