At the heart of the release is the LIVE Series — meticulously painted, photo-realistic representations of common forage species including shad, alewife, bluegill, and golden shiner. These lifelike patterns mirror natural baitfish with high-detail artwork applied to the tops and sides of the lures, giving anglers a true-to-life presentation designed to fool even the most pressured bass.

Complementing the LIVE lineup is a collection of custom-painted baits. These include popular patterns such as Hitch, Baby Bass, and Trout, offering anglers unique combinations not found in traditional soft-plastic production.

Initially, these new colors are available in several of Gambler’s top-selling bait families, including the Super Stud soft jerkbait, the Little EZ swimbait, and the FFS Min-O series. Gambler Lures owner Val Osinski says the motivation behind the project came from both anglers and retailers seeking an edge in an increasingly competitive market.

“Everyone is looking for that edge, and what we’re trying to do is give it to them by offering customers extremely customized lure finishes,” Osinski said.

He added that local dealers have played a major role in shaping the program:

“One of the driving forces in these new custom baits has been local dealers reaching out and asking for a specific type of baitfish. We’re able to reproduce that for them and offer something that’s 100% unique to their store or region.”

Osinski emphasized that many of Gambler’s most successful colors have come directly from real-time fishing observations.

“If you have a bait pattern you’ve always wanted to see in a soft jerkbait or swimbait, let us know,” he said.
“The Baby T color was literally created after a day on Lake Okeechobee when I had bass coughing up little tilapia on my deck. I went back to the warehouse, designed it, got some baits painted up — and they absolutely crushed it.”
