Fundraiser for Noted Florida Flats Captain Geoff Page

Miami, FL – Anglers from across the country will unite for a cause bigger than fishing when the Red-Trout Go Live! Tournament casts off in support of Florida Insider Fishing Report’s Central West Region Capt. Geoff Page. Capt. Page has been battling with interstitial lung disease causing inflammation of the lungs and difficulty breathing. Without insurance, Capt. Page needs our help. The Go Live! Tournament is open to teams from any state with all proceeds going towards the complex treatment and recovery of his condition. Capt. Geoff has given so much to the fishing community over the years and this event is our way of giving back.

Red-Trout Go Live! kicks off on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 6:30 AM to 1:30 PM. The tournament will feature a catch-weigh-release ‘Facebook Live’ format, ensuring sustainability while still celebrating the thrill of the catch. Anglers will compete for top prizes by weighing in:

  • The heaviest redfish up to 9 lbs.
  • The single heaviest trout

Teams of three anglers will compete using artificial lures only, with the freedom to weigh fish on any digital scale.

Entry fee: $375 per team

Prizes: Over $7,000 in payouts, including $2,500 for first place.

The Red-Trout Go Live! Tournament registration is now open. Teams can sign up by scanning the QR code or visiting TheNationalRedfishTour.com. For information on sponsoring the tournament or to make private donations, e-mail Kathy@RMmedia.com or call 305-246-0673.

If you’re fishing the tournament locally in Sarasota, we hope you’ll join the fun at the kick off and after parties at Daiquiri Deck from 4-8 PM on Friday, September 26 and Saturday, September 27.
