Raymarine has announced that it will unveil NeuBoat Dock, an autonomous docking solution, at the Cannes Yachting Festival. The launch comes after Raymarine and Avikus entered a partnership at the Miami boat show in February.

According to a statement, NeuBoat Dock consists of a six-camera system based on Avikus’ advanced autonomous vessel technology. It provides a 360-degree view of the boat through a Raymarine Axiom plotter to assist in close-quarters maneuvering and docking.

“We’re really excited about the prospect of sharing our revolutionary technology with the rest of the marine industry,” Gregoire Outters, general manager Raymarine U.K., said in the statement. “The boatbuilders who have signed on are just the beginning. The technological union between Raymarine and Avikus is going to usher in a new age of boating.”

Several major builders have agreed to integrate NeuBoat Dock technology into their next model years.

The Cannes Yachting Festival runs Sept. 12-17.
