CrushCity™ Freeloader Goes Big With New Sizes And Colors

Everyone is familiar with the expression, "Big fish eat little fish." But there are certain times of the year, like loading up for pre-spawn, when fish just prefer a bigger meal.

For fish in search of a heartier portion size, CrushCity® is introducing two new bigger sizes of its popular Freeloader™ minnow: 5-¼ and 6-½ inches. Along with two new colors, Sexy Shad and Smelt. Because sometimes, big fish eat big fish.

The Freeloader has quickly carved out a reputation as the leading option when it comes to shaking a minnow, while rigging as a trailer behind a spinnerbait, vibrating jig, or scrounger. Belly and top hook slots help in rigging the bait straight, and the top hook slot helps to hide the hook point. Tail rings give bait enticing tail-kicking action. By comparison, the Freeloader features a wider gizzard shad profile and deeper belly compared to the CrushCity Mooch Minnow.

CrushCity™ is the collaboration of Rapala® and Jacob Wheeler to create what Wheeler calls "the soft baits I need to win tournaments." With a handful of big tourney wins and over $1M in earnings already under its belt, CrushCity soft baits have lived up to Wheeler's bold proclamation.

Available in 23 colors.

Smart Injection Technology® combines custom combinations of color, flake, salt and scent that are added precisely where needed for the perfect presentation.

The Freeloader is sold in five pieces (sizes 5-¼ and 6-½ inches) and 6 pieces (size 4-¼ inches) per pack and has a manufacturer's suggested retail price of US $5.99 to $7.99.
