Showcasing its new for 2026 deep-drop SEABORG 500J electric reel, the new largest SALTIGA 30000P big-game spinning reel in the series, and the new larger size saltwater Certate SW and Certate HD heavy-duty inshore spinning reels, DAIWA will again lead the way among fishing tackle exhibitors at the upcoming Miami International Boat Show.

Taking place on February 11-15, this is the first major fishing and boat show exhibiting DAIWA's new saltwater rods, reels, braid, and lures just hitting tackle shop shelves in Florida and other saltwater fishing focused areas. The DAIWA display – booth MB6105 in the Miami Beach Convention Center – will also premier the new Procyon inshore casting and spinning rods, and the brand-new Freams LT spinning reel series with sizes for fresh and inshore saltwater use, both coming to tackle shops later this spring.
"The Miami show is considered by many the saltwater fishing season kickoff and gives our staff and local pro staffers an unmatched opportunity to interact with show attendees and generate enthusiasm," said DAIWA's Marc Mills. "At the show, we'll be working closely with exhibiting dealers selling our tackle, clothing, and fishing accessories – including Captain Harry's Fishing Supply, Crook & Crook Marine and Tackle, and El Capitan Marine and Fishing Supply. All these dealers will be spooling up DAIWA reels purchased at the show with J-BRAID as a value-added bonus while supplies last."

Mills noted that the DAIWA display will also feature new for '26 tackle including the SALTIGA G 10 jigging and RYOGA SV 100 and 150 round-design baitcasting reels, plus the new COASTAL TW 200H low-profile casting reels and Switch Hitter, Salt Pencil and Lazy FASHAD 100S introduced at the 2025 ICAST Show.
