Featuring a largemouth bass leaping from the water, this specialty tag was designed by a Georgia native and avid angler and refined in collaboration with WRD Fisheries staff to ensure scientific accuracy and visual impact.

The new Black Bass Conservation specialty license plate is now available to Georgia drivers.
Revenue generated from the sale of the plate helps fund:
- Conservation and restoration of Georgia's native black bass species
- Habitat enhancement and water quality projects
- Fisheries research and monitoring
- Hatchery production and stocking of largemouth bass, shoal bass, and other popular black bass species
- Education and outreach efforts
The plate costs $45 annually — just $20 more than a standard tag. Of that additional fee, $19 supports conservation in the first year and $20 each year after.
Georgia residents can request the Black Bass Conservation specialty plate at their local county tag office.
