Savage Gear Introduces Next-Generation 3D Trout Swimbaits

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Savage Gear is expanding its lineup of premium trout-profile swimbaits with the introduction of the new 3D Line Thru Trout Pro and 3D Line Thru Pulse Tail Trout Pro, two ultra-realistic trout swimbaits built to target trophy-caliber predators with refined swimming action, improved balance, and increased rigging versatility. Built from detailed 3D scans of real trout and lifelike details from actual fish, the new Pro Series baits give anglers two distinct actions and presentation styles designed to excel across varying retrieval speeds, water conditions, and fisheries.
Built around Savage Gear's patent-pending Y-Tube Line Thru technology, both baits feature an enlarged channel with an integrated hook slot that securely locks the top hook in place while also allowing anglers to rig top or bottom hook configurations based on conditions and preference. The versatile design improves hookup ratio, extends bait longevity during battles with large fish, and allows each bait to maintain balanced swimming action during fast and slow retrieves, pauses, and heavy current situations. Both baits include adjustable chin weights to adjust rate of fall and retrieve speeds. Savage Gear has developed six forage-inspired color patterns including Light Trout, Dark Trout, Brown Trout, American Shad, Kokanee, and Washed Out Trout.

Available in both floating and slow sink models, the bait is built to cover multiple water columns and presentation styles depending on fish behavior and conditions.
