The SHYFT Casting Reel employs a cast iron carbon frame and side plates to deliver exceptional rigidity in a compact, low-profile design weighing just 6.79 ounces.

Comp Drag+ Delivers Smooth, Consistent Pressure
- Another defining feature of the SHYFT Spinning Reel is its Comp Drag+ system.
- The system combines high performance fiber drag washers with treated aluminum washers to reduce startup inertia while providing exceptionally smooth and consistent drag pressure throughout the adjustment range.
