CCA Florida is excited to announce the 2026 STAR competition presented by Yamaha will transform into a tournament dedicated exclusively to youth and provide scholarships, boats, community service hours and great prizes for kids ages 6-17.
The summer long competition started Saturday, May 23 and ends Labor Day, September 7.
This year's competition will award more than $150,000 in prizes, boats and scholarships, with $100,000 in college scholarships to youth ages 6-17. Participants just need to go fishing over the summer, take pictures of his or her saltwater catch and submit their entries in the competition. Scholarship winners are determined by random drawing, giving all participants a shot at winning.
