Integration with a compatible Garmin chartplotter lets anglers select the scanning mode — auto, manual or constant — that best fits their style of fishing. Plus, anglers can choose from multiple LiveScope control modes to optimize their live sonar with the Spy Pole mount. For example, SpyLink™ integration synchronizes the Spy Pole direction and speed with a compatible Force® trolling motor, which anglers can wirelessly engage via a rod-mountable gesture remote or programmable foot control.
Also, with the Spy Pole mount being controlled from a chartplotter, the system's SpyLock™ mode can lock the LiveScope sonar on a point of interest, such as a brush pile, rock formation or waypoint, so anglers don't lose sight of specific fish targets or their surroundings. They can also use the SpyScan™ mode to oscillate the Spy Pole on a defined angle to help sweep the area for fish-harboring habitat.
The Spy Pole motorized mount solution is available in 42" and 49" sizes, and its durable construction is engineered to withstand extreme fishing environments. The unit mounts to, and dismounts from, nearly any location on your boat, including a trolling motor or boat gunnel (mount sold separately). Setup is quick, and sonar transducers can easily be installed onto Spy Pole, with wires routing through the pole shaft for secure cable protection.
