Duckett Fishing Introduces New Crappie Slayer Baits
Three new swimbaits and the Subtle Head jighead offer a range of profiles and actions for crappie and other panfish.
GUNTERSVILLE, ALA. — — Duckett Fishing introduces its new Crappie Slayer bait line, featuring the Baby on Board (BOB), Chubby, and Subtle Tail swimbaits, along with the Subtle Head jighead. From a finesse style swimming action for pressured fish to an aggressive kick and rolling action, the new offerings give anglers options to match their presentation to the bite.
The Baby on Board (BOB) Swimbait features a 2-inch baitfish profile with a dual-color core shot that creates a distinct two-tone look. Its ultra-thin boot tail produces tight swimming action for a finesse presentation when fish are pressured and is perfect for clear water applications. The BOB is available in eight colors with eight baits per pack.
The Chubby Swimbait delivers a more aggressive movement into a compact, 1.75-inch profile. Its wide, ribbed body maximizes water displacement, while an oversized boot tail delivers an aggressive kick and rolling action. The small baitfish profile offers an option for crappie feeding on small prey. The Chubby is available in eight colors with 12 baits per pack.
The Subtle Tail Swimbait offers a finesse presentation through its slim baitfish profile and restrained paddle-tail action. Molded with ultra-soft PVC, the tail continues moving even on the slowest retrieve, making it well suited to pressured crappie and other panfish. The Subtle Tail is available in eight colors with 12 baits per pack.
Rounding out the new offerings, the Subtle Head is a bullet-style jighead that helps keep soft plastics at depth during a steady retrieve. A screwlock keeper holds the bait in place, while a realistic eye completes the baitfish look. Featuring a #2 hook, the Subtle Head is available in 1/24 oz, 1/16 oz, 3/32 oz, and 1/8 oz, with five jigheads per pack.
The all-new Crappie Slayer line of baits offers new and innovative designs for anglers targeting crappie around cover or open water. The 3 distinct styles allow anglers to choose the best presentation based on water color, temperature, or season.
